Ethiopia Suke Quto Natural Process

Ethiopia Suke Quto Natural Process

Regular price $25.75

Tesfaye Bekele is a pioneer of coffee in the Guji region. He established the Suke Quto farm in 2000, and has overseen its transformation into a community-oriented means of economic stability and environmental regeneration for the region. This highly traceable, organic + rainforest-certified coffee is grown by 171 outgrowers from the surrounding area. This particular lot is naturally processed, meaning the cherries are left intact for 9-15 days. This process saves water, but requires constant monitoring. The result is a spectacular cup with splashes of blueberry and almond balanced in an assam tea-like body. Suke Quto is a seasonal favourite of Little Sister’s - make sure you nab a bag while it’s here!
